Israel intercept rockets fired at Upper Galilee settlements
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have reported the interception of rockets fired at settlements in the Upper Galilee region.
According to details from Detaly.co.il, the IDF indicated that 17 rockets were launched toward Israel, with 13 successfully intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defence system. The remaining rockets exploded in open terrain.
Security forces are currently assessing the area to determine if any damage was incurred as a result of the rocket fire. Additionally, the IDF responded swiftly by targeting the sources of the rocket launches.
The incident follows earlier reports indicating that Hamas militants were responsible for the rocket attacks targeting Israel. The IDF's prompt response and successful interception demonstrate Israel's commitment to safeguarding its citizens from such threats.
