Israel’s health ministry: Some 289 injured in 24 hours

Israel’s Health Ministry said 289 injured people were taken to hospitals over the past 24 hours amid the ongoing conflict with Iran.

According to the ministry, 19 of those admitted are in moderate condition and 258 are in good condition. Eight people were treated for anxiety, and four have undergone or are undergoing medical evaluation, Israeli media reports.

Since the fighting began on February 28, a total of 1,050 people have been evacuated to hospitals, the ministry said. Of that number, 120 remain hospitalised or in emergency rooms, while the rest have been treated and discharged.

Among those still hospitalised, four are in moderate condition, although two were not directly wounded by missile strikes. Another 21 patients are listed in moderate condition, 75 are in good condition, and two remain in hospital for further medical evaluation, according to the Health Ministry.
