Israel says Hezbollah drone strike wounds two soldiers
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have stated that a drone launched from Hezbollah struck near the Israel–Lebanon border, seriously injuring one soldier and moderately wounding another.
Both were evacuated to the hospital, and their families have been informed, Caliber.Az reports, citing the IDF.
The military made it clear that the incident was another breach of the ceasefire understandings by Hezbollah.
In a separate incident earlier on Friday, Hezbollah allegedly launched multiple explosive drones targeting Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon.
One soldier was moderately injured and taken for medical treatment.
The military also reported that in recent hours, Hezbollah fired mortar shells and rockets at IDF troops in southern Lebanon.
One projectile was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force, while others landed near soldiers.
No additional injuries were reported, and no sirens were activated in line with protocol.
