Israel says it struck Hamas weapons production facility in Gaza city

The Israeli military said it carried out an airstrike on a Hamas military facility in Gaza City, accusing the Palestinian militant group of using the site to rebuild its military capabilities.

In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said the targeted facility was being used to manufacture components for weapons and alleged that its operation constituted "a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement" in the Gaza Strip, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the military, several Hamas militants were present at the facility at the time of the strike, and the site was destroyed.
