Israel strikes eight key bridges in Iran, targets military supply routes

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed it carried out precision strikes on eight bridge sections in Iran, citing their use by the Iranian regime to transport weapons and military equipment.

The IDF announced the operation on X, emphasizing efforts to limit civilian harm, Caliber.Az reports.

“The IDF struck 8 bridge segments in several areas, including Tehran, Karaj, Tabriz, Kashan, & Qom. Prior to the strike, several steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians,” the military statement read.

The strikes are part of Israel’s ongoing campaign targeting infrastructure it deems critical to Iran’s military logistics.
