Israel strikes Hezbollah financial, military targets in Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out overnight strikes on Hezbollah’s financial infrastructure in Beirut, targeting facilities operated by the “Al-Quard al-Hasan” association, the terrorist group’s financial arm used to pay fighter salaries and fund operations, the IDF reported via its Telegram channel.
In parallel, the Israeli Navy executed coordinated air and sea strikes against a senior Hezbollah operative in Beirut, alongside attacks on the Imam Hussein Division headquarters in southern Lebanon.
The IDF said extensive precautions were taken to minimize civilian risk, including advance warnings, the use of precision-guided munitions, and continuous aerial surveillance.
The military stressed that it will continue decisive operations against Hezbollah, which has joined hostilities under Iranian backing, reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding Israeli citizens.
