Israel strikes Hezbollah's military infrastructure in Syria
Israeli airstrikes targeted military infrastructure in Syria's western Homs province last night.
according to Anadolu. The attacks struck key locations in the Jubaniya, Naem, and Khuz districts around 3:35 AM local time, Caliber.Az reports citing Turkish media.
The airstrikes hit several strategic sites, including bridges, military headquarters, and vehicle convoys. These sites are reportedly used by Iran-backed groups to transport military equipment and fighters from Syria to Lebanon.
Despite attempts by Syrian air defence systems to intercept the attack, the strikes were successful. Eyewitnesses have reported numerous casualties and injuries, although precise figures are yet to be confirmed.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that the targets were military sites near the Syria-Lebanon border, used by Hezbollah for the transfer of weapons.
