Israel strikes Hezbollah targets deep in Lebanon north of Litani River
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has announced that the Israeli Air Force carried out targeted airstrikes against Hezbollah military positions deep inside Lebanese territory, specifically north of the Litani River.
The strikes focused on key military infrastructure, including weapons depots and rocket launcher sites, Caliber.Az reports via IDF.
“The Israeli Defense Forces attacked military sites belonging to the terrorist organization Hezbollah, including rocket launcher positions and weapons stockpiles, located north of the Litani River in Lebanon,” the official statement said.
On June 20, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned Hezbollah of a harsh response from Tel Aviv if the group continues receiving support from Iran. Katz said that Hezbollah’s leader is once again threatening Israel while carrying out Tehran’s orders.
