Israel strikes over 150 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon Killing dozens of Hezbollah fighters
The Israeli army has intensified its operations against Hezbollah militants in Lebanon, targeting more than 150 sites in a single day.
The Israeli Air Force conducted strikes on various Hezbollah positions, including weapons depots, launchers, and other military infrastructure, Caliber.Az reports per Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
The operations reportedly resulted in the deaths of over 45 Hezbollah fighters. Notably, a combined air and artillery strike in southern Lebanon led to the elimination of Hussein Muhammad Awada, a Hezbollah battalion commander, in Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon.
Awada was allegedly involved in numerous attacks against Israel from various southern Lebanese villages. In addition, the IDF, supported by the Israel Air Force (IAF), eliminated over 45 Hezbollah operatives and targeted more than 150 sites, including weapons storage facilities and launchers.
In parallel, IDF operations in Gaza led to the neutralization of armed terrorists and the destruction of terror infrastructure in Rafah. During raids in northern Gaza, troops recovered weaponry, such as hand grenades, AK-47s, explosives, and mortars.
