Israel strikes rocket launch sites minutes after attack toward Shtula

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out rapid strikes on rocket launch sites shortly after a rocket attack targeted the Shtula area, according to an official military statement.

“The IDF struck a launcher within minutes after the launch of several rockets toward the Stulya area. In addition, another launcher that was ready to fire and posed a threat to IDF forces and the State of Israel was also struck,” the statement said.

Earlier, the IDF stated that an alert had been activated in the Shtula area after several rocket launches were detected crossing Lebanese territory and heading toward Israel. The Israeli Air Force intercepted the launches.
