Israel targets defence systems at Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport

During the tenth wave of airstrikes across Tehran, the Israeli Air Force, guided by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intelligence, struck infrastructure at Mehrabad Airport, officials said.

The operation dismantled defence and detection systems used by the Iranian regime that posed a threat to Israeli aircraft, IDF reports.

“The IDF continues to degrade all infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime throughout Iran,” a statement said, underscoring Israel’s ongoing campaign to neutralize threats from Iranian military installations.

Prior waves of airstrikes targeted Iranian missile storage, command centres, and other military sites as part of Israel’s broader strategy to prevent attacks on its territory.
