Israel thanks North Macedonia for arrests over alleged antisemitic attack in Skopje
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar has thanked the authorities of North Macedonia for the arrest of seven suspects in connection with an attempted arson attack on a Jewish community building in Skopje.
Sharing a post on X, Sa’ar said he was grateful to the government of North Macedonia and Foreign Minister Timčo Mucunski for the arrests, Caliber.Az reports.

“Their swift and determined action to hold the perpetrators accountable underscores North Macedonia’s commitment to safeguarding the Jewish community,” he wrote.
The attempted arson attack took place on April 12, which, according to the Israeli side, was antisemitic in nature.
