Israel unloads thousands of tons of military gear at Haifa Port PHOTO

Thousands of tons of military equipment, including vehicles for Israel’s ground forces, have arrived in the country aboard a cargo ship, the Israeli Defense Ministry said.

The ministry said it had completed unloading the vessel at Haifa Port, with the equipment now set to be delivered to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The shipment includes D9 bulldozers, Humvees, JLTV armored vehicles, Oshkosh trucks and other military equipment “intended to strengthen the operational readiness and continuity of ground forces,” according to the ministry.

The delivery is part of Israel’s ongoing efforts to maintain and strengthen the capabilities of its ground forces.
