Israel urges Netherlands to act against surge in antisemitic incidents
Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned of what it described as a sharp rise in antisemitic incidents in the Netherlands, urging Dutch authorities to take stronger action to address the problem.
In a statement published on X, the Israeli ministry said the scale of antisemitism in the country had already become apparent during attacks on Israelis in Amsterdam in November 2024, as per Caliber.Az.

“In the Netherlands, an antisemitism epidemic is raging. We saw its scope in the pogrom against Israelis in Amsterdam in November 2024. In the attack on the synagogue in Rotterdam two days ago. In the attack on a Jewish school in Amsterdam yesterday,” the statement said.
The ministry questioned where the next attack might occur and called on the Dutch government to take more decisive measures to combat antisemitism.
Earlier reports said that an explosion occurred overnight on March 14 at a Jewish school in Amsterdam. A day earlier, unidentified individuals set fire to the entrance of a synagogue in Rotterdam.
