Israeli Air Force intercepts two rockets from Gaza
The Israeli military announced on December 30 that its Air Force successfully intercepted two rockets launched from northern Gaza in the evening.
The rocket fire triggered air raid sirens in communities surrounding the Gaza Strip, but no injuries were reported, Caliber.Az reports via Chinese media.
According to a statement from the Israeli military, the intercepted rockets came hours after another missile launched from Gaza fell in an open area in southern Israel. The rocket strike did not cause any casualties or damage.
This marked the third consecutive day of rocket attacks from the Palestinian enclave toward Israel, with tensions continuing to rise in the region. No further details were provided about the origin of the attacks or any potential escalation.
Israel's Magen David Adom emergency service confirmed that no injuries were reported from the incidents, which come amid ongoing hostilities between the two sides.
