Israeli Air Force launches fresh strikes on Tehran
The Israeli Air Force carried out a new series of strikes on Tehran, the Israeli army’s press service announced.
This time, the targets were the headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). In particular, strikes hit “key infrastructure” at both the IRGC main headquarters and the Air Force headquarters in Tehran, the IDF noted.
In addition, Israeli aircraft simultaneously attacked a storage site containing ballistic missiles and launchers prepared for firing rockets towards Israel, the statement said.
On February 28, the United States and Israel began a war against Iran. Major Iranian cities, including Tehran, came under attack. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced a large-scale retaliatory operation against Israel. Military facilities of the United States were also targeted in Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
