Israeli air force strikes Iranian missile launch sites, foils reconstruction efforts VIDEO
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted a series of airstrikes targeting Iranian missile launch and storage sites in western Iran, successfully preventing attempts by Tehran to rebuild critical military infrastructure.
“Over the past few days, Israeli Air Force aircraft have identified several attempts by Iranian regime security officials to restore missile launch and storage sites after they were struck by the IDF, a statement by IDF read, Caliber.Az reports.
It added that the strikes targeted engineering equipment and resulted in the deaths of dozens of Iranian military personnel involved in the reconstruction efforts.
The IDF underscored its ongoing operations within Iranian airspace aimed at neutralizing threats to Israel’s security. “The IDF will not allow the Iranian regime to re-establish a launching infrastructure targeting the Israeli rear,” the statement noted.

The escalation comes seven days after Israel launched a major attack on Iranian military facilities and nuclear sites, killing senior military officials and top nuclear scientists.
Iran responded to that attack by launching waves of missiles at targets in Israel, and the conflict quickly widened with strikes on targets in residential areas and oil and gas facilities.
Iran has fired hundreds of missiles and drones at Israel, although most have been shot down by Israel’s multitiered air defences.
