Israeli Air Force strikes over 100 targets in Gaza in 24 hours
The Israeli Air Force launched attacks on more than 100 targets in Gaza over the past 24 hours, as the intensity of combat operations in the region remains high, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.
According to the IDF, the strikes targeted individual militants and militant groups, military buildings, weapons stockpiles, tunnel entrances, and other elements of the terrorist infrastructure, Caliber.Az reports.
In northern Gaza, the 162nd and 99th IDF divisions continue to eliminate militants and dismantle both surface and underground terrorist infrastructure. Fighters from the Givati Brigade uncovered and destroyed a weapons cache and a tunnel entrance in the Beit Hanoun area. An airstrike was also carried out on a group of militants planting roadside explosives.
In Jabalia, forces from the multidomain unit 888 “Rephaim” and reconnaissance teams from the 401st Brigade neutralised a group of militants and destroyed terrorist infrastructure.
In the Daraj-Tuffah area, the Nahal Brigade killed several terrorists.
Meanwhile, the 98th Division is operating in Shujaiya and Zeitoun neighbourhoods in eastern Gaza City, eliminating Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants and their facilities.
The IDF reaffirmed its commitment to dismantling terrorist capabilities and ensuring security for Israeli citizens amid ongoing hostilities.
