Israeli airstrikes kill 11 civilians across Lebanon PHOTO
During Israeli airstrikes across multiple areas in Lebanon, eleven civilians were killed, and others were injured, the National News Agency of Lebanon announced.
Two strikes targeted the towns of Zawtar al-Sharqiyeh and Kfour in the Nabatieh district in the south, killing six people.
In northern Lebanon, a strike on a residential building in the Beddawi Palestinian refugee camp in Tripoli killed two and injured a woman. Another strike hit a vehicle on the Tyre–Naqoura road in southern Lebanon, claiming three lives.
Israeli jets also struck the university district of Nabatieh and several other towns in the south. Information on casualties in these areas is still being confirmed.
According to media reports, these attacks followed a previous series of strikes that killed 12 people and injured dozens. Since the escalation of airstrikes on March 2, the total death toll has exceeded 60, with around 400 injured.
