Israeli airstrikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in Lebanon leave 12 dead
The Israeli Air Force launched a series of strikes on the night of September 29 to 30, targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley and the Al-Hermel region in north-eastern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of 12 individuals.
The attacks, reported at 01:26 and 02:58 local time, targeted dozens of rocket launchers and buildings used to store weapons, Caliber.Az reports via Israel Defense Forces.
Additionally, fighter jets attacked military buildings in several areas of southern Lebanon, structures which had reportedly been used by Hezbollah for military purposes. Powerful strikes were also reported in the Al-Hermel region, near the Syrian border, leading to both fatalities and injuries.
Moreover, Israeli forces have bombed the Kola area of Beirut, marking the first attack on Lebanon's capital beyond the southern suburbs since the start of their expanded offensive.
According to Lebanon’s Health Ministry, the recent Israeli strikes have resulted in the deaths of 105 individuals within the past 24 hours, as military jets continue their relentless bombardment across the nation. The situation remains critical as the conflict intensifies, leading to rising casualties and widespread destruction.
