Israeli Army advances in Shuja'iya Destroy militants, weapons cache
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) made significant advances in the Shuja'iyya district, killing several militants and uncovering a weapons cache on school grounds.
During the operation, Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighter jets targeted and destroyed a group of armed militants preparing to attack IDF soldiers, Caliber.Az reports citing the IDF press service.
In Rafah, IDF forces eliminated several militants and dismantled multiple terrorist infrastructures, including several tunnels with assistance from the IAF.
Additionally, the IAF struck several enemy firing positions in the center of the Gaza Strip.
On the night of June 28, two rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip towards Sderot. One rocket was intercepted by air defence forces, while the second fell in an undeveloped area without causing casualties.
In response, the IAF attacked a tunnel near the rocket launch site, and artillery units struck a terrorist firing position. The IDF continues its operations to neutralize threats and ensure the security of Israeli civilians.
