Israeli army attacks 100 Hamas targets in Gaza Video of ongoing hostilites
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has said that more than 100 targets of the Palestinian radical movement Hamas had been attacked in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours (December 25-26).
Among the attacked targets are tunnel mines and other Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist infrastructure, Caliber.Az reports, citing the IDF press service.
Soldiers of the 261st Brigade, supported by the Israeli Air Force (IAF), reportedly eliminated a group of militants attempting to plant an explosive device near an IDF tank in the northern Gaza Strip.
In addition, the 7th Brigade soldiers targeted the Khan Yunis area, where the IAF eliminated more than ten militants.
A group of militants near a weapons depot was also identified. An air strike eliminated both the terrorists and the depot.
An Islamic Jihad headquarters was captured in the Daraj Tufa neighbourhood in the northern Gaza Strip, where weapons, explosive devices, ammunition, military equipment and intelligence documents were found.
