Israeli army calls for urgent evacuation from Hodeidah port in Yemen

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has warned residents of Yemen's port of Hodeida that they will attack the area "in the coming hours" and urged an immediate evacuation,

The head of the IDF press service, Colonel Avichay Adraee, shared the relevant statement on his X page in Arabic, Caliber.Az informs.

"In the coming hours, the IDF will strike in the area indicated on the map, in light of the military operations carried out there by the Houthi regime," Adraee wrote.

He added: "For your safety, we call on all those in the port of Hodeidah and on ships docked there to leave immediately. Anyone remaining in the area is putting their life at risk."
