Israeli army continues fighting in Gaza VIDEO

The Israeli army continues its ground operation in Gaza, operating in the north, centre and south of the Strip.

The operation continues in the Al-Shifa medical complex in Gaza City. An operation is underway in the area of Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis.

Forces of the 401st Brigade and Shayetet 13 Marine Special Forces are involved in the operation in and around Al-Shifa Hospital. Since the beginning of the operation, some 500 Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists have been arrested in the area, and weapons and ammunition have been found, Caliber.Az reports citing Israeli Defence Forces (IDF).

Ground units and Shabak officers are active in the operation on the territory of Al-Amal Hospital. More than 20 militants have been eliminated here over the past 24 hours. Dozens of suspects have been interrogated. Hundreds of people were allowed to evacuate after checks. Weapons and ammunition were found on the territory of the hospital.

Troops continue to operate in the centre of the Gaza Strip. Over the past 24 hours, they eliminated several militants. In particular, a terrorist who was climbing into a tunnel was eliminated.

Over the last 24 hours, the IAF attacked about 50 terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip. About ten militants were killed by air strikes.
