Israeli army eliminates 10 Hezbollah fighters over 48 hours VIDEO

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have reported that troops from the 7th Brigade combat team killed 10 Hezbollah militants over the past two days.

According to the IDF’s statement, forces of the 7th Brigade under the command of the 36th Division encountered the militants in several separate incidents during recent days, identifying armed Hezbollah operatives operating near Israeli forces.

“Following their identification, the IDF carried out precise strikes and eliminated the terrorists in order to remove the threat,” the statement said.

The military added that during an additional operation, fighters from a multi-dimensional unit destroyed an armed and ready-to-launch firing position that posed an immediate threat to Israeli forces. Weapons storage facilities and military structures were also destroyed.

Separately, the Israeli Air Force struck Hezbollah infrastructure overnight, targeting sites used by militants after an anti-tank missile was fired at Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, with no reported casualties.

The IDF also said that the 91st Division struck a launch position from which a rocket had been fired within a short timeframe.

“The IDF will continue to operate against threats directed at Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers, in accordance with the directives of the political echelon,” the army said.
