Israeli army eliminates Hamas sniper near Gaza’s “Yellow Line”

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have eliminated a Hamas sniper near the “Yellow Line” in the Gaza Strip.

In a Telegram post, the IDF said its troops identified the sniper, who posed an immediate threat to forces operating near the “Yellow Line” in northern Gaza, before firing at him, Caliber.Az reports.

“Shortly after the identification, IDF troops fired toward the terrorist in order to remove the threat. A hit was identified. 

IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat,” the military said.
