Israeli army eliminates key Hezbollah commander in southern Lebanon VIDEO

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the elimination of Muhammad Qassem Al-Sha'ar, a commander in Hezbollah's elite Redwan Force. 

Al-Sha'ar was killed in an airstrike conducted in the Qaraoun region of southern Lebanon, Caliber.Az reports via IDF press service.

According to IDF, Al-Sha'ar was actively involved in orchestrating various terrorist operations aimed at Israel. 
This operation significantly undermines Hezbollah’s capacity to launch attacks from southern Lebanon.

"This elimination will further impair Hezbollah's ability to prepare and execute terrorist activities targeting Israeli positions along the northern border," the statement by IDF reads.
