Israeli army intercepts weapons smuggling at western border

Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) blocked an attempt to smuggle ten long-barreled firearms across the western border.

Observation posts and the air control system detected a drone crossing the border from the west on March 31, in an attempt to transport weapons, Caliber.Az reports, citing IDF’s statement on Telegram.

After detection, IDF forces shot down the drone, which was carrying ten long-barreled firearms, during searches conducted near the Paran Brigade area.

The seized weapons have been handed over to security forces for further processing.
