Israeli army kills Hezbollah’s special forces commander in Lebanon

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have eliminated the commander of the Radwan special forces units, part of Hezbollah’s military wing, in Lebanon, the IDF press service announced on Telegram.

“Yesterday (Saturday), the Israeli Air Force struck and killed the terrorist Abu Khalil Barji, Commander of the Special Forces in Hezbollah’s Radwan Force, along with two other terrorists in the area of Majdal Selm in southern Lebanon,” the IDF spokesperson said.

According to Israeli military sources, the commander had served in the Radwan forces for many years and was recently appointed head of the special forces.
