Israeli launches operation against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon

Israeli special forces have launched an operation against Hezbollah units on the outskirts of Nabatieh, the administrative centre of the southern Lebanese province of the same name.

The advance towards the city's outskirts, located about 75 kilometres from Beirut, began following intensive airstrikes and artillery bombardment, Caliber.Az reports, citing Al Jazeera,

The report said Israeli forces are using robots to detect explosives and identify sabotage groups operating in the area.
