Israeli Army says it launched strikes on Hamas arms factory

The Israeli Air Forces are striking Hamas facilities in the Gaza Strip in response to the overnight shelling of Israeli territory from the Palestinian enclave.

"In response to attacks from the Gaza Strip on Israeli territory, the IDF continues strikes on Hamas weapons production facilities in the Gaza Strip," Gazeta.ru reports citing the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) press service.

They added that the strike on the underground Hamas factory was carried out by Israeli fighters.

According to the Israeli military, last night there was an attack of gunfire and two rockets were fired in the direction of the state from the Palestinian sector. The other two rockets were fired in the direction of southern Israel.
