Israeli army strikes around 250 targets in Gaza Strip
The Israeli Air Force continues to carry out strikes on various sites across the Gaza Strip.
According to the army's press service, around 250 targets were attacked in the enclave over the past 48 hours. These included booby-trapped buildings, weapons depots, anti-tank missile launch positions, tunnels, sniper posts, and other military infrastructure. Strikes were also carried out on individual armed Palestinian militants.
Ground forces are continuing operations in various parts of the Strip. In particular, in the Shuja’iyya and Zeitoun neighbourhoods of Gaza City, several observation posts and explosive devices used by fighters from the radical groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad for ambushes against Israeli troops were destroyed over the past two days. These ground operations were supported by the air force, which reportedly killed dozens of Palestinian militants in the area during this time.
Fighting also took place in the area of Beit Hanoun in the northern part of the enclave, where the military destroyed various military infrastructure, including underground facilities.
