Israeli army warns Lebanese residents against returning to several towns
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) spokesperson Avichay Adraee has stated that during the ceasefire period, Israeli forces continue to hold new positions in southern Lebanon in response to what it describes as ongoing “terrorist activity” by Hezbollah.
In a post on X, Adraee warned Lebanese residents, for their safety and the safety of their family members, not to move south of the village line shown on the map and its surrounding areas until further notice, Caliber.Az reports.
He added that residents should refrain from returning to several villages in southern Lebanon, including areas near the Litani River.
