Israeli defence chief: Air force must be prepared for immediate action, quick offensives
Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Galant has held an operational meeting at the command centre of the Israeli Air Force.
He said that aviation must be ready to act at any moment, Caliber.Az reports, citing the press service of the country's Defence Ministry.
"Our enemies are carefully thinking over their every move because of the capabilities you have demonstrated over the past year. Nevertheless, we must be ready for everything, including a quick offensive," he told the air force commanders.
The meeting, which was attended by Israeli Air Force Commander Major General Tomer Bar and other high-ranking officers, was held "in light of recent developments" in the region.
"The minister was briefed on the readiness of the air defence forces and the offensive potential that can be applied in each of the areas," the ministry informed.
