Israeli defence firm to supply cutting-edge weaponry to Australia

Israeli defence company Elbit has announced that it won the Australian government's tender to supply arms and electronics for Redback armoured personnel carriers.

The order is worth $600 million over five years, according to NEWSru.co.il.

Under the contract, the concern will supply cutting-edge defence systems, weapons and electronics for armoured personnel carriers.

Last week, Elbit won a similar $300 million tender to equip armoured personnel carriers for a European country.
