Israeli envoy warns of Hamas presence in Pakistan, Bangladesh

Israel's Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, has said that Israeli authorities possess information indicating that Hamas is active in both Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Speaking in remarks reported by Israel's N12 news, Azar warned of what he described as the group's intentions beyond the Middle East.

"We know that Hamas is active in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Possibility that there are some of their terror activities we are still not aware about. They draw inspiration from October 7 terror attacks," the ambassador said.
