Israeli FM: "Jews are hunted worldwide - in Canada, Australia and Europe" PHOTO
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar has called for stronger and more decisive action to combat antisemitism during an official visit to Germany, according to a statement from the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
During talks with German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt, the two sides discussed the condition of the Jewish community in Germany as well as a reported increase in antisemitic incidents.
“Antisemitism is an unparalleled phenomenon: Jews are hunted worldwide - in Canada, Australia and Europe - although they live far from the Middle East conflict. The new antisemitism is marked by an obsession with the Jewish state,” Sa’ar said.

He stressed that addressing this phenomenon requires “concrete steps,” rather than relying solely on political declarations.
As part of his visit, Sa’ar also held meetings with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Bundestag President Julia Klöckner.
