Israeli forces detain six terror suspects in Gaza, West Bank raids PHOTO
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the successful execution of multiple special operations in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, conducted in coordination with the Shin Bet security agency.
In a joint operation with the Shin Bet in the Jenin area, Israeli soldiers—guided by military and intelligence data—acted in the Al-Yamun region and detained a terror suspect who was allegedly planning to establish a terrorist cell in the area, Caliber.Az reports, citing the IDF press release.
Simultaneously, IDF troops apprehended four armed individuals in the Bir al-Basha region. The suspects were reportedly in possession of six different firearms.
On July 7, Israeli forces also detained six individuals wanted on suspicion of terrorist activity in the areas of the Etzion, Judea, and Binyamin regional brigades.
The arrested suspects and the seized weapons have been transferred to Israeli security authorities for further investigation. No Israeli personnel were injured during the operations, the IDF confirmed.
