Israeli forces dismantle explosives, uncover weapons caches in Gaza operations
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in an ongoing operation led by its Kfir Brigade under the command of the 162nd Division, have intensified their efforts in the Jabaliya and Beit Lahia areas of Gaza.
The operations have focused on dismantling enemy military capabilities, with significant progress reported, Caliber.Az reports via IDF.
Troops eliminated multiple militants and uncovered numerous explosive traps rigged to target IDF forces. As part of their mission, soldiers conducted comprehensive sweeps of buildings rigged with explosives and used as weapon storage facilities.
During one such sweep, hidden explosives were discovered in a building, accompanied by a camera containing footage of terrorists preparing the structure with explosive devices.
The building was destroyed following the discovery.
In another raid on a suspected weapons depot, soldiers confiscated additional explosives and weapons, along with a second camera revealing footage of a militant concealing explosives in a rigged flat.
A launch pit was also found nearby and dismantled on-site.
