Israeli forces eliminate Hamas sniper in southern Gaza

A sniper from Hamas’ military wing, Adi Adli Abd Al-Aaser, was killed in southern Gaza, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) announced.

According to the IDF, he had been preparing attacks against Israeli military personnel and civilians and had also participated in efforts to restore the organization’s capabilities in violation of the ceasefire. The sniper was killed in an airstrike.

“Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.

IDF troops under the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat,” the army said.
