Israeli forces hit 90 sites across Gaza in daylong assault
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have struck approximately 90 targets across the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, as operations intensify under the coordination of military intelligence and the Shin Bet.
According to a press release from the IDF’s spokesperson unit, Israeli troops are continuing operations in the northern Gaza Strip, Caliber.Az reports.
In the last day, they have neutralised militants — some through airstrikes — and systematically destroyed weapons caches and infrastructure, both above ground and in tunnels.
Military operations are ongoing not only in the northern sector but also in central Gaza. In the Beit Hanoun area, several military sites were identified and destroyed by Israeli forces.
Activity has also increased in the Gaza City area, where troops have targeted militants and struck a range of operational infrastructure. During these operations, Israeli ground forces eliminated rocket launch sites, sniper positions, and arms depots.
The Israeli Air Force, operating in coordination with ground units, carried out strikes on roughly 90 targets throughout the Gaza Strip over the past day. These included military compounds, buildings used by militant groups, underground tunnel networks, and other facilities tied to militant activity.
