Israeli forces hit Hamas operational headquarters VIDEO

On the 133rd day of military operations of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) against the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, the air force has launched numerous attacks while the ground forces continue their offensive.

The Air Force recently hit numerous Hamas targets throughout the Strip, including the group's operational headquarters, some military buildings and rocket launchers, Caliber.Az reports citing Nova News.

In central Gaza, the Nahal Brigade killed several alleged Hamas members over the past day, also in coordination with the Air Force. Meanwhile, in the north of the Strip, the 215th Artillery Brigade directed an air strike against several Hamas targets, while in a separate attack three members of the Islamist movement were killed, the IDF announced.

In southern Gaza, the Parachute Brigade is said to have killed numerous alleged Hamas members in the last 24 hours, as well as having discovered and neutralised a bomb. Specifically, the Seventh Brigade killed "12 terrorists" in the city of Khan Yunis, added the IDF.

Furthermore, according to reports from the Palestinian "Wafa" news agency, this morning at least seven Palestinians were killed and others were injured in Israeli air strikes in the Al Nasr neighbourhood, in eastern Rafah, the southernmost city of Gaza.

Since the beginning of the Israeli military offensive on October 7, following the Hamas attack in Israel, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to at least 28,663 Palestinian dead and 68,395 injured, according to reports from the Gaza's Ministry of Health, run by the Islamist group.

The figures cannot be verified and no distinction is made between civilians and combatants. In fact, these deaths also include those caused by the launch of rockets by the Palestinian Islamist movement itself. According to Israeli authorities, around seven Hamas militiamen have been killed in fighting in Gaza since October 10, in addition to another 1,000 killed in Israel in the aftermath of the October 7 attack. Furthermore, on the Israeli side, around 1,200 people were killed in the Hamas attack against the Jewish state, while 234 soldiers have died since the beginning of the ground operation in the Gaza Strip.
