Israeli forces intensify operations in southern Lebanon amid ongoing clashes, airstrikes
Israeli military forces have continued their operations in southern Lebanon, with reports indicating that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) became notably more active on the morning of November 26.
Heavy clashes are taking place in several areas, including al-Khiam, where it was previously reported that the city had fallen under Israeli control, Caliber.Az reports per Israeli media.
However, fighting in the region persists, reflecting the ongoing instability.
The Israeli Air Force has carried out airstrikes on multiple targets in southern Lebanon, including areas east of Zaoutar and the village of Aba near Nabatiyeh. These attacks have reportedly resulted in casualties, with two individuals confirmed dead and nine others injured.
Additionally, the IDF has shelled various locations in the region, including al-Klaila, Majdal Zun, al-Bazuriya, and the area between Burj al-Shamali and al-Khawsh. Ground operations are also underway in the towns of Tir Harf and Sham, further intensifying the conflict in the southern part of Lebanon.
As the situation continues to unfold, the scale and duration of these military actions remain uncertain, with both sides seemingly preparing for further escalation.
