Israeli forces kill arms supplier in eastern Lebanon Who is said to be a Hamas offical

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has stated that on the evening of September 17, the Israeli Air Force launched airstrikes on the Baalbek area of eastern Lebanon, killing a militant named Hussein Sifu Sharif.

The IDF statement reads that Sharif was a weapons supplier and led militants planning attacks on Israel from Syrian territory, Caliber.Az reports.

“The terrorist’s actions constituted a violation of the agreements between Israel and Lebanon,” the IDF said.

Meanwhile, a Lebanese Army Intelligence source announced that the victim was a Hezbollah official.
