Israeli forces kill multiple terrorists in Jenin operation

Israeli security forces carried out a targeted operation against terrorists in the Jenin area today, resulting in the elimination of multiple militants.

The operation involved the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), the Israel Security Service (Shin Bet/ISA), and the YAMAM special counterterrorism unit, according to a joint statement published on the IDF’s Telegram channel, reported by Caliber.Az.

The forces conducted their operation in the Kafr Qud area. During the mission, they discovered a terror cell hiding in a cave. IDF and security forces engaged the militants: two terrorists were killed, and one was wounded. Shortly afterwards, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) targeted and eliminated another terrorist linked to the cell.

Earlier on October 28, the IDF had confirmed that its forces carried out a strike against militants in the area of the Menashe Regional Brigade, located in the northern West Bank, based on intelligence provided by Shin Bet. In a statement, the IDF said: "The IDF, guided by ISA intelligence, struck terrorists in the area of the Menashe regional brigade. Details to follow."

The Menashe Regional Brigade oversees a portion of the northern West Bank, including Jenin, which has been the focus of frequent Israeli operations over the past year amid rising regional tensions. These operations are part of ongoing Israeli efforts to prevent terrorist activity and maintain security in the area.
