Israeli forces struck over 150 targets in Gaza City

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has said its air force and artillery units had struck more than 150 targets across Gaza City over the past two days, as ground troops launched a new phase of what the military calls "Operation Gideon’s Chariots II."

According to the IDF, the strikes were carried out in support of maneuvering ground forces. The military also reported hitting what it described as a Hamas weapons production facility on September 15, saying secondary explosions indicated the presence of explosives at the site, Caliber.Az reports via IDF statement. 

The IDF said its troops are operating in Gaza City to dismantle military infrastructure and target armed groups.
