Israeli jets strike Hezbollah-linked financial warehouses in Lebanon
On March 9, Israeli Air Force jets carried out an additional series of strikes on facilities and warehouses of the Al-Quard Al-Hassan association, which finances Hezbollah’s activities in Lebanon, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) announced on Telegram.
“These funds are used by the Hezbollah terrorist organisation to purchase weapons and weapon production materials, and to pay terrorist salaries to support their terrorist activities.
The strikes were carried out to further deepen Hezbollah’s military degradation, this is following the IDF’s strikes against the association’s assets last week.
For many years now, the people of Lebanon have experienced a financial and humanitarian crisis that is being exploited by the Hezbollah terrorist organisation. The terrorist organisation aggravates the crisis, taking advantage of the population's weak socioeconomic position to deepen the population's dependency and shore up its military presence.
Hezbollah's financial rehabilitation attempts and the ‘Al-Quard Al-Hassan’ Association operations are a blatant threat to the people of Israel,” the IDF said.
