Israeli military chief says strikes on Hezbollah to continue Photo

The head of the Israeli military said Israel will continue carrying out strikes against Hezbollah, as fighting along the northern border shows no sign of easing.

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir oversaw the latest wave of strikes and reaffirmed Israel’s determination to target the Lebanese armed group, Caliber.Az reports.

“We will continue striking the Hezbollah terror organization and will utilize every operational opportunity. We will not compromise the security of the residents of northern Israel. We will continue to strike with determination,” Zamir said in remarks released by the military.
