Israeli military confirms death of soldier in Lebanon clashes

One soldier of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has been killed during combat operations in southern Lebanon, according to a statement released by the Israeli military press service.

The same incident also left an officer and several reservists wounded, the IDF said.

Since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas on October 7, 2023, Israeli military casualties have reached a total of 957 soldiers.
