Israeli military confirms Hezbollah night-vision drone operations

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have for the first time confirmed that Hezbollah is using unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with night-vision devices, Israeli military correspondents said.

Investigations are underway, and new methods to counter such threats are being developed and implemented.

“This is a dynamic and evolving threat characterised by the use of cheap, accessible means with rapid modification capabilities. The trends in this area, including the use of night-vision devices, are known to us and are being studied.

Various investigative processes are currently underway, alongside the implementation of solutions and countermeasures to address this threat — in accordance with lessons learned in the field and operational assessments of the situation,” the correspondents reported.
